11/18/2015 0 Comments You Are Enough~ Wednesday![]() By Melissa Holmlund You don’t have to compare your body to other women’s bodies. You don’t have to compare! You have permission from the Father to stop comparing yourself. You can and should take care of your body, but let those comparisons go. I have stretch marks on my belly. I’m not crazy about these marks, but I am learning to love them because they are the result of six pregnancies and six gifts from God. You have permission from the Father to rejoice in the unique features of your body that make you, you. You are uniquely beautiful. It’s time that we as women and daughters of the King get free to rejoice in our beauty, acknowledging we are created by God and in the image of God! 2 Corinthians 10:12 says, “Not that we dare classify or compare ourselves with some of those who are commending themselves. But when they measure themselves by one another and compare themselves with one another, they are without understanding.” Ask the Lord to forgive you for comparing yourself with others, then read through Psalm 139. After you read through Psalm 139, take some time to thank God for your body. Start at the top of your head working down to the bottom of your feet, thanking God for the unique beauty of all your parts! Believe that you are fearfully and wonderfully made!
