You don’t have to compare your talents to others.
I have extremely talented sisters. One sister is a worship pastor with an incredible voice and strong leadership qualities.
My other sister is a beautiful dancer skilled in leaps and turns that I’ve never been able to do. She’s an encourager and very prophetic.
My sister-in-law is a nurse and does things I could never even imagine being able to do. She has a compassionate heart and knows how to serve others.
I have friends who are gifted in their own ways: art, photography, hospitality, cooking, giving, teaching, music, etc… Most of them have gifts that I don’t have. I don’t have to be jealous of their talents.
I rejoice over their talents, and I thank God for my own. We are all different and have all been equipped by God to serve Him in different ways.
Ephesians 2:10 says, “We are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Read through 1 Corinthians 12:4-31. Thank God for the gifts that he has given you and use those gifts to serve others and bring God glory!
