![]() We want so desperately to do a good job, but what if part of our job is to be still? What if God wants to give us His perspective and loosen the grip of what society says is success? We do strive to do it allbecause we want what’s best for our kids (and sometimes what’s best for our egos) but what if this weight that we carry wasn’t meant to be ours alone? What if He really does care about our kids more than we do and has a plan bigger than ours for our family? What if we can invite Him into our parenting— not just the big things— but the big and small things that happen daily? He is our wisdom when we don’t know what to do. He is our strength when we’re tired. He is our hope when we’re in hopeless situations. He is love when we don’t have enough. He is the grace we need for our graceless moments. He is the One who gives us the grace to walk in victory. God, so many times I don’t have any idea what to do. Thank you that You always know what is going on in the hearts and minds of all of us. I trust You, and I know that You desire to give me the wisdom I need for whatever situation I’m in. I choose to slow down, so that I can hear from You and get Your perspective for my life and situation. Thank you that You care for my family and my life even more than I do. Amen.
